Cheka: “I’ll Beat Australian Boxer to Win WBC Silver Title”

Tanzanian professional boxer Francis Cheka is full of confidence that he will beat his Australian opponent  Zac ‘Dynamo’ Dunn in the coming World Boxing Council super middleweight bout.

Cheka who is expected to leave the country five days before the fight is now in intensive training.  He is preparing for the fight scheduled to take place at the Melbourne Pavilion, Flemington, Victoria on July 1.

Francis_Cheka 1According to The Citizen, Cheka says, “I have already trained hard ahead of the fight. I must win in order to raise my reputation. It will be my first time to fight in Australia and I have to prove my worth in the game. My target is to win by knockout or technical knockout. The fight against Dunn is the first as per our contract. If I win the fight, I will secure a better contract to fight in Australia, Europe or the United States. This is very important to my career and I am confident that I’ll win all bouts.”

Considering that Cheka is a new boxer in the ring and after his potential loses to win title belts. This has  prepared him for the future and he has increased in weight to enable him take up more challenging fights.

According to Advance Security Company managing director Juma Ndambile, who is also Cheka’s  manager, the bout is important to the boxer to develop his career.

Juma Ndambile who is the manager of Cheka commented on the signing of the contract with bout organiser Cheka and Barry Michael Sports has to flex his muscles to win due to record of his opponent. Dunn has fought 21 times and won by knockout 17 times with no loss or draw. Dunn is a holder of Super Middleweight title for the International Boxing Organisation.

Dun won the WBC International Silver super middleweight title and his last fight was at  Les Sherrington.Francis Cheka 2
