Africa, the continent with the highest number of players in Premier League

The English Premier League is the most-watched sports league in the world, with a potential TV audience of 4.7 billion people and up to 643 million homes worldwide. No wonder the league is attracting players from all over the world, including the continent of Africa.

Most African footballer dream of playing in the EPL, but did you know that the majority of foreign players in the Premier League are from Africa? Of course with the exception of Europe – the host continent.

The 2019/20 season has seen the highest number of African footballers in England with 48 African players in the league. While it is super easy to name our most popular stars like Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Gabon and of course the Liverpool duo of Mohamed Salah (Egypt), as well Sadio Mane (Senegal), but did you know that there are many other African players representing the continent in England?Below is the full list:
